The aspect about being a librarian at NC State that I love the most is how I am always learning. Each day is different. Sometimes I get to work one-on-one with students conducting research for the first time, other days I get to facilitate the use of immersive technology for innovative pedagogy and public engagement. The iSchool provided many course and practical work opportunities that helped prepare me for my current role by diversifying my knowledge and experience. And as challenging as they may be (at times), group projects were important because much of my work now is collaborative.
